We have been offering an Embryo transfer serviceand practical training courses for many years.

EMBRYO TRANSFER SERVICE
The team has over 38 year’s embryo transfer experience; we carry out over 400 flushes together with 1000's of transfers.

PRACTICAL TRAINING
We specialise in practical training courses, and have close links with IPC, Oenkerk (World renowed centre for Cattle Footcare), and Semex. We offer courses in Cattle Foot Trimming, DIY AI, Bovine Ultrasonography and Embryo Transfer.

Our aim with the help of our trained instructors, is to deliver practical courses which when completed allow the attendee to have developed a skill which can be used on the farm.

We also offer:
  • On-Farm flushing and implanting services throughout the UK
  • Embryo export and storage facilities
  • Bull fertility checks
  • For problem cows, we can accommodate donors at our residential unit, where they will receive intensive veterinary supervision.
We can also offer expert advice for all your veterinary needs, including lameness, fertility and mastitis, conducted by on-farm visits to evaluate problems.

FarmSkill and Harper Adams

We at Embryonics are working in conjunction with FarmSkills and Harper Adams to give farmers the opportunity to achieve a Harper Adams University certificate in Dairy Herd Health Management.

Each module can be studied as a ‘one off’ course, or combined for the Harper Adams qualification (equivalent to doing year one at University).

Subjects available:

·         Bovine DIY AI

·         Bovine lameness

·         Bovine mastitis control

·         Improving dairy herd fertility

·         Management of the pregnant and parturient dairy cow

·         Rearing dairy replacements

·         Nutrition (in development)

The workshops are an ideal opportunity for the busy ambitious farmer not wishing to return to full or part time education.  Each workshop lasts between 2 – 4 days and can be studied over a 3 year period.

To be able to access the courses you must be resident in the UK and either have NVQ qualifications to level 3 or more, or 5 years’ experience working on farm.

By attending any of the above courses you will be applicable for a percentage of funding through Harper Adams.  When you have attended all 6 modules you will qualify for a Harper Adams University certificate alongside our own DEFRA approved DIY AI certificate.
