Bovine Ultrasonography Workshop Training
These one-day courses are designed to support cattle practitioners wishing to maximise the effectiveness of regular herd health and fertility visits.
Our experience:
We have specialised in Bovine Reproductive Ultrasonography for over 20 years. The knowledge base has developed during this period, gained by the tutors through personal experience, routine day visits, specialised reproductive consultation on in-patients, and embryo transfer work. In addition, delivery of a number of workshops both at home and abroad allows the delivery in a relaxed, interactive nature. Case based interpretation is used to delivery maximum understanding.

Practial Bovine Utrasonography:
This workshop is aimed at the newly qualified veterinary or mixed practice practitioner wishing to hone their practical skill.
Course content:

Introductory classroom theory session, with images of key stages of pregnancy and infertility diagnosis discussion

Morning and afternoon practical scanning sessions with small group tuition

Example of cows at all stages of pregnancy to 28 days post-insemination available

Practical guidance on how to find and identify the structures

Technical advice on choice of scanners to suit practice needs

Bovine Ultrasonography (advanced repro course)
Mainly classroom based, this workshop is aimed at the experienced ultrasound user who wants to enhance their image interpretation to aid diagnosis of both normal and infertile problems. Participants are encouraged to bring their own images to discuss and interpret. Held in small groups (8 max) to enable interactive discussion.

Foetal Sex Determination
Determining the sex of a bovine foetus during the routine visit is rapidly becoming common place with the bovine practitioner.
