SUMMARY:Mobility Scoring
DESCRIPTION:RoMS MOBILITY SCORING\n\n\n\n\n1 – DAY COURSE\n\n\n\n\nMobility Scoring is an efffective way to monitor the whole herd’s lameness. It is a RoMS accredited system whereby cows are scored based on their mobility. The Register of Mobility Scorers (RoMS) is a self-regulatory body which encourages the use of standardised\, independent mobility scoring\, conducted by trained and accredited scorers. \n\n\n\n\nThe aim of this LANTRA approved course is to teach you how to assess and score the mobility of cows effectively. You will then be able to evaluate the level of lameness and the progress made on farm to either reduce levels of lameness or maintain a low level. \n\n\n\n\n\nRecord-keeping\nScore consistantly\nBehaviour and posture\nAssess lameness\nIdentify problems\nPotential financial benefits\nBiosecurity\n\n\n\n\n\nThe route to become an accredited Mobility Scorer starts by completing this course. \n\n\nBook Now
