Embryonics is a well-established Company who specialises in the training of Farmers and Veterinarians across the UK. We are highly focused on providing skills development for those new to the agricultural industry and for those existing practitioners who are interested in developing their skills further.

We are recruiting for a Course Co-Ordinator to join our small, friendly team. You will be a crucial part of our client’s journey – from the initial enquiry to completing a course. Every little detail counts. This is a role for someone who wants to see things through to the end and genuinely takes a pride in the work that they do.

Main responsibilities include: –

• Build relationships with new and existing clients
• Evaluate all client requirements and recommend suitable options available
• Effectively manage in-coming enquires, whether that’s over the telephone, emails, website,
social media or third party
• Process bookings and managing course registrations
• Scheduling and coordinating all UK events
• Ensure all courses are set up appropriately prior to course commencement
• Sending pre-course information to delegates and trainers
• Show initiative and be able to generate other opportunities by promoting our services
favourably and in a structured professional way, with the ability to identify new opportunities
• Social media management, this includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Creating and scheduling content to targeted audience types
• Naturally creative, enjoys writing and developing company literature
• Print flyers, course notes and course materials
• Online Shop / Sales
• General office duties and ad-hoc tasks
• The above list is not limited to the above

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, maintaining accurate work and documentation
• Requires a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the farming industry would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
• Previous experience in coordinating courses or events desirable
• Previous Sales & Marketing experience will be highly beneficial
• Must have excellent time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Handle more than one job at the same time and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Friendly telephone manner and a passion for customer service
• IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-based systems
• A positive attitude and openness to change in the business
• Interest in animals: cattle, sheep
• Own transport desirable
